Description: An Antique Meissen Porcelain Cupid Motto Figurine. The figurine was originally modeled by M. V. Acier in 1775. Simply a wonderful figurine! Date:Late 19th or Early 20th Century Overall Condition:It is in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition. Condition Details:There is an expected small loss in the flowers and leaf work, an overpainted flake to the base (on the reverse), some very fine and light glaze and surface scratches here and there, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. (As best we can tell the heart device in Cupids hand is original. There seems to have been several versions of this figure).
