Antique Marionette Theater Puppet Ladies Maid Vintage Early 1930's

Description: Antique Vintage Handmade Marionette Puppet Doll ~ Ladies Maid ~ Lady with Apron What a lovely old piece this is. There is no major damage such has holes, tears or rips. There is some age discoloration/light brown staining on some of the clothing. The one leg/knee area is also coming a little loose in the stitching (photo 11 & 12). Doll is all cloth stuffed with a hand painted face. Her hands and shoes are also painted. You can certainly see the hand stitching done on her body & clothing as well. There are also a few stick pins in her hat/hair area (photo 16). The tiny fibers in her yarn made hair do come off when handling her (see photo 18)Purchased her and a few others from a collector who stated they were from the early 1930's.Her 3 strings are still attached to her & the wooden handheld piece.Measures 15 3/4" longWe buy most of our pieces at auctions & flea markets, so we may not know the history of the item.
