Description: Up for sale is a gorgeous example of Chinese Longshan pottery. This vase is made from black earthenware, featuring a hexagonal shape, patterned sides, and lions heads on the upper. This piece came from a late relative who was in the archaeology field. He lived across the globe between the 60s -80s leading incredible digs. We believe that this was a piece that could have come from one of his digs in China during the 80s, as it seems quite old, and has the presence of aged soil stains around. There is also a chip on the base that is quite smooth from age, and several minor chips throughout.
