Description: (PL) La Porcelain Limousine of Limoges France Lustreware Hand Painted Rectangular Dresser Vanity Box with Lid 1905-1938approximately 10"L x 3.5"W x 3"Hweight 2 lbs.Signed by Artist Mrs. Busbee (? Hobbyist) The mark on this piece was used by La Porcelaine Limousine of Limoges, France. The company was founded by Joseph Redon and P. Jouhanneaud and his son in about 1905 and was in business until about 1938. Beautiful Limoges lustreware large rectangular vanity dresser box in very good condition. No cracks or crazing seen. Wear noted. 1 small chip on underside edge of the lid but not noticeable or does it effect in anyway the lid in position. (see pic 11) The vine roses décor is hand painted and nicely done. Signed by hobbyist most likely but could not tell as we could not find information. Please see Item Specifics.
