Description: This auction is for an Antique Brass Cauldron Pot. The pot is Brass with a cast iron handle. On the bottom it is stamped "H.W.Hayden's, patent Dec 16, 1851, Extended Reissued May 24 1870, manufactured by the Waterbury Brass Co." The pot is very large. It measures approximately 14" tall and 20" diameter. It weighs just over 13 pounds. This is a well used pot with repairs, and damage not repaired. There is a large messy repair, I show a closeup in the last 2 photos, inside and out. Other repairs are smaller. A couple of tears are not repaired. The support ring that goes around the top is rusted. The brass has patina on the inside and I believe painted black on the outside.
