Description: Antique Japanese Moriage Enamel Satsuma Style Vase Urn Wavy Top EdgeSize: 15" tall with 4.5" diameter across the top. No maker's mark or origin on this piece. Appears to be entirely hand painted and is embellished with all over beaded enamel and gold gilt. One side is decorated with two people in traditional dress while the other side is decorated with flowers. It has two ornate applied handles that look like dragons. Has a small hole in the bottom, not sure if this was a lamp at one point. Condition: In very good condition. One handle has a crack. Some discoloration in the glaze/finish. Both handles appear to have fading of the original gold gilt that used to accent them. No chips to the base nor the top.Sold as is, as found.
