Description: Estate Find. Antique lighthouse nautical brass oil lamp filling can measures approximately 11" in length with an early logo with the name Iver C Weilbach Copenhagen Denmark Solver & Svarrer with old sailing ship in the center. This is the only example I can find, and no information regarding this piece is available on the internet. Nearly exact to the USLHE piece. Obviously, this piece is very old, and I believe it dates around the latter half of the 1800s. I can only assume that this particular piece is not common. This piece was found in a local estate auction located in Bucks County PA. There were a few nautical items from the same company, like nautical compasses and ships bells. This piece is untouched and in all original condition with no repairs and includes original twist cap with chain.Has a very nice overall aged patina . Does have some dings and dents as shown, but nothing is broken or damaged in any way. Most of the research indicates that it was used for lighthouse or nautical ship oil lamps. I did not attempt to clean it, and as mentioned, it's in original untouched condition. I take all 24 pictures so you can get a good look at what you will receive however if you would like some additional pictures or any information regarding this piece please feel free to contact me at and I will get back to you ASAP . Important side note: I USUALLY GO TO THE POST OFFICE WITHIN 48HRS AFTER THE WINNING BID IS COMPLETED UNLESS THE AUCTION ENDS ON A FRIDAY OR PAYMENT IS MADE WITHIN FRIDAY BETWEEN SUNDAY THEN I GO ON MONDAY .
