Bowman and illustrations by Janet Laura Scott. This is a later edition that was gifted in 1936. Scott(b. 1886) was a popular artist for the Volland Publishing Company. She was the second wife of Carroll Thayer Besides illustrating children's books, she also made drawings for paper dolls and illustrations for Child Life Magazine. The illustration is custom matted in ivory and is ready for a 9x12 frame. All materials are acid free. The illustration is original to this edition and is not a copy. l
