Description: This antique Hornberg Black Forest Majolica plate is a beautiful example of German Majolica pottery from the late 1800s. The overlapping geranium leaves on berries are a classic motif and the lead-base glaze gives the plate a rich appearance. This “Greenware” plate is 7.75 inches in diameter and in good condition. It does include a number of flea bites/minor chips as seen in photos.
