Description: This lovely bisque doll was manufactured by Heinrich Handwerck/ Simon Halbig in Germany around 1900. She has brown glass eyes and painted eyebrows and eyelashes. She has rosy cheeks and an open mouth with teeth. Her limbs and body are made of composition. She will need to be restrung by a doll doctor. Her head is very loose. Her wig appears to be synthetic, but can easily be replaced with mohair if a buyer wishes to do so. She has earrings in both ears and was purchased at an estate sale. She is wearing antique white bloomers accented with same color lace. She has long white socks and antique white shoes. Her dress is antique white brocade and is long sleeved. It is accented with maroon ribbons, white and silver flowers, green leaves, and faux silver beads. The bottom portion of the dress is pleated and she has a sash made of the same material which ties in the back. She has a matching beret style hat.
