Description: Antique hay knife, measuring around 35" long. This antique item is missing one handle, but over all the knife is very solid, with surface rust. This old time harvest tool is used to cut down hay without the need of a pull behind implement. This knife belonged to my grandparents, who farmed in the Midwest until the late 1970s. I would estimate the age of this item to be at least 90 to 100 years old or older. I will be listing hundreds of antiques, vintage books, magazines and media in the coming weeks and months.
