Description: Antique Hand Riveted Steel, Coal Ash Bucket with Beer hand painted on each sideCould have been made anytime from the 1860s to around 1900 is my best guess. I have no idea when it might have been painted.Has steel, not wire handle. The 1.25" riveted steel bottom rim is so when holding hot coals it will not burn whatever it is sitting on.This bucket is older than the galvanized Coal Scuttles you see that are not round in shape.Approx. measurements are - 9.5" across the top - 10.5" tall (not including the bail handle)Good Solid condition, see all photos. Tested and it does not leak water. No International shipping. TERMS-PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BID.
