Description: Antique HAFIS 18k Solid White Gold, 17 Jewels Manual Wind, Ladies Art Deco Watch, Ca. 1920s, Working. The 17 jewels, 3 Adjustments Manual wind movement is nice, clean and working. Under the dial is stamped: Pat. 104593 and # 18846. The 18k Solid White Gold beautifully engraved Art Deco case is in excellent condition and measures 32mm from lug to lug and 19mm not including the crown. The case, not including the movement, the crystal and the crown and stem weighs 3.8 penny weight-6 grams. The melt value in today’s gold market is $335.00 The silver engraved dial with the blue enameled accents, Breguet hour markers, blued steel hands and all lettering are in very good condition with slight age related patina. The crystal is in excellent condition. The antique expanding filigree band with the sapphire accents is stamped: S & C Pat. 10-19-26, Peggy Lou, 1-10 12k and is in excellent condition and complements the watch perfectly. This watch and band are an amazing example of the 1920’s Art Deco era, in such wonderful condition that it is hard to believe that they are one hundred years old. This is a vintage watch without service records. I cannot guarantee the accuracy, longevity or waterproofing and should be serviced by a competent watchmaker.
