Description: This antique H C & Co Columbia umbrella is a true antique piece from the 1920s. It has a 1922 patent date on one of the ribs. It features a beautiful blue flowered enamel handle with butterflies and is made of mixed materials including wood, metal and what looks like butterscotch Bakelite (untested) on the end and on the tips of the ribs. The umbrella measures 27 inches long and is missing its fabric canopy. Its art deco look and enameled handle make it a unique addition to any collection. The umbrella is an original piece and needs the fabric replaced to complete its vintage look. Condition: There are two small slightly rough feeling areas on the handle which show damage with magnification. The tip has dullness/wear, probably from being used as a cane. As pictured.
