Description: This is a wonderful pair of “Witchy” black leather button-up shoes, with 13 buttons, by the J.J. Grover Shoe Company, of Lynn, Mass.(Right next to Salem, Mass.) Their logo is printed inside of the left shoe, “Soft Shoes For Tender Feet." There is also a numerical ink stamp, starting with 37-3. I’m purely guessing that the 37 represents the Euro size as a US 6.5-7-ish. From the bottom, they measure approx. 9-3/4” toe to heel and 3-1/8” at the widest section of the sole. The heel is 1-1/2” and the shoe rises 8” from the floor. They are in very good used / antique condition. The rubber heels show some cracking and may be brittle. Otherwise they are solid and flexible. I believe they could be worn with care. Estimated package weight is 2 pounds.
