Description: Antique Griffen Smith and Hill Etruscan Majolica Leaf Shallow Bowl Dish Plate Condition: This plate is in overall good used condition. There is one blemish in the center of the plate/bowl. There is a chip on the tip as shown. The underside has chipping around the circumference of the edges of the of plate as shown in the photos. Comes as pictured. Please see photos! According to the book Majolica, A Complete History and Illustrated Survey, the impressed symbol indicates that this plate was made by Griffen Smith and Hill prior to 1880.
