Description: An antique Georgian snuff or pill/trinket box with an inlaid gold rabbit or hare. I'm not sure what the box is made of, it's possibly a faux tortoiseshell, it's slightly translucent when held up to light. The box is approximately 2 and 1/8ths inches (55mm) long. The hinge is good and tight and the box closes perfectly. There is the expected wear on the bottom from normal use, and there are a few tiny lines - one in the top right corner, and 2 on the back (the tip of the pen is pointing to these).
