Description: From a recent estate sale we have acquired this pair of George Washington Sash Window stops or props. We aren't very knowledgeable in the types of glazes on these old pieces, which seem to be made of yellow ware with either a Bennington or a Rockingham glaze. They most probably date to the 2nd quarter of the 19th c. and do show some wear. One has a chip on the top back of the head and the other has a flake on the nose that probably could be touched up, if not fully repaired. We are offering them at a good price since we got them at a reasonable price. Please refer to the photos for the best look. They will display well and are very desirable true antiques. Measurements are about 5β high x 4β w. x 4 ΒΌβ d.Be sure to view all the photos. For some of our listings, the photos have a scroll down arrow. We will ship according to the shipping calculator.
