Description: This French pitcher has both an unusual pattern and shape. It comes from Soufflenheim, France in the Savoie region and combines two traditional slip-painted patterns on one piece: green, brown, and cream, in a traditional daisy pattern around the top rim and then little polka dots throughout the body. Even the shape is different from most pitchers from this area. I find the shape elegant and love the contrasts of the patterns. Dates from the first part of the 20th century. There are some rough spots along the top rim and handle. No cracks, hairlines, nothing serious. Dates from the early 1900s and condition is very good for its age. Measures 6 1/8” tall and 6 ½" across at the handle. Do let me know if you need more photos or have any questions. Problem? Tell me and I will do my best to make it right. _gsrx_vers_1608 (GS 9.5 (1608))
