Description: Antique French Sacred Flamed Heart Brass Pendant Ex Voto Reliquary Notre Dame de LOURDES Necklace. One like it on line was dated 1880. Crystal Toggle Necklace. Locket has been soldered shut. Pendant has some wear which, to me, only adds to its antique charm. Crystals and pearls surround. The front of the heart is filled with fine carvings: in the middle the letters N.D. de L or Notre Dame de Lourdes. The large L has a crown on top. Beautiful leave branches on both sides are connected at the bottom. In the back there is a ring attached to hold the chain. Originally, it was hung in a French church or chapel.
