Travail en Famille”, Fashion, Woman Artist, Paris, January 1857 This antique French lithograph was published January, 1857, in the fashion magazine, “Modes Vraies: travail en famille”, a supplement to the Musée des Familles, a French periodical that was published between 1833 and 1900. It was drawn by Laure Noël (1827-1878), French female watercolorist and fashion illustrator, engraved by Barreau and printed by Grognet, printer in Paris, located at 13, cloître des Bernardins. This lithograph shows some stains, creases and tiny tears in the margins. It has been mounted on a paper presentation mat. This piece will be an excellent addition to your collection of prints or a handsome decorative piece on your wall.
