Description: Gorgeous 19th century French curtain panel.Lovely flowing motif with floral bouquets tied with bows, grasses draping ivy so very pretty! Looks to me block printed. This panel has held its colors beautifully! Just a small amount of soft fade, over all still very bold red. These wonderful classic large scale prints are becoming harder to find especially in such great condition! Beautiful sturdy crisp mid weight cotton with I think a bit of linen blend. Made form one full panel with selvedge edges intact at about 32" (stitched down on one side). Hand sewn ruffle on one side 5". 2.5" hand sewn hem at bottom unfinished top. Fabuluos to use a curtain or lots of fabric for many home decor or sewing projects. Approximate measurements: 36" width including ruffle x 103" length Over 1 lb of fabric. Condition: Great! A few small spots here and there, overall excellent for age and use! Carefully washed and ready to use. Please see photos and use zoom for additional detail. I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected.
