Description: Antique French Faience “Rooster” Pitcher Early Luneville, Lorraine c.1870s. Although unattributed, this piece is unquestionably early Luneville. The Rooster (the Symbol of France) sits atop the floral basket as any good French Rooster should. The glaze has dimples consistent with older primitive application technique and there is a cosmetic non structural ageline under the handle. It measures 9.5” tall by 7” wide to the handle and is in excellent antique condition. It will be professionally packed with insurance and ships from the United States..
