Description: Hello. I found this axe in an antique mall in Ontario, near Georgian Bay. I have lightly sanded it and applied 6 coats of gloss diamond coat to the wood. I think the wood is ash, please see pictures. The axe weighs 5lbs 14oz, or 2.67 Kg. I have included images of the axe on display in my Workshop and Armory. More pictures available upon request.
