Description: This antique wall-mounted fire alarm is a rare find for restorers and collectors of historical memorabilia. The bell is made of sturdy cast iron and measures 6 inches in diameter, and the total height is 10.5 inches. It was acquired by a close family member, who saved it from the old Pennsylvania firehouse where it had been in use for many, many decades, just prior to the station being torn down about 15 years ago. I do not know anything about these alarms and how they work, so I can’t say what its mechanical condition, if it is missing parts, or what would be needed to get it working order. However, it looks like it would be a great complete restoration project, or could just be cleaned up cosmetically (or kept as it is) to be a really cool historical decor piece that’s both authentic and unique. *Item is being sold as-is, so please view photos and ask any questions prior to purchasing.*
