Description: This is for a Antique John Edwards Fenton Stoneware Serving Platter 16" x 12" this is a large platter. The ones that resemble this one was made in the late 1800's. It has pleating all the way around that almost look like feathers. It appears to be transferware with hand painted embellishments such as the delicate flowers in blue and Orange. I believe the brown spots around edge are in the glaze and not discoloration. Condition This Platter is pre-owned and in good condition. No chips, cracks, scratches or crazing as a lot of ceramic plate of this age have. Only flaw I found was a factory glaze spot on back see last picture for that detail. Please look at all pictures for condition. ***Please look at all pictures for condition details as they are part of the description.*** *** I am not an expert in any field, but I do try my best to list items as accurately as I can.*** Leaving Feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your interest and looking. Have a great day!
