Description: This is a beautiful German Porcelain Figurine of a Nude Woman on a Horse. She has a Red patterned cloth over her legs for modesty. Made by Fasold and Stauch, in Thuringia Germany. Circa 1920's.In very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. The Black banding around the lower part of the base has worn off over time and handling. The size of the figurine s 8 3/4" high x 6 1/2" across. The base is 2 7/8" x 5". Hallmarked on the base with Fasold and Stauch hallmarks as well as impressed numbers. There is some thought that this company has some affiliation with Wallendorf. Much of the literature that I have read substantiates this. Similar figurines shown are from makers such as Rosenthal and Wallendorf. I have many other lovely and unique items listed. Reasonable prices and will combine shipping when possible.
