Description: This is for a Antique European French Wicker Wrapped Demijohn Carboy bottle. Unknown where made but I purchased from France. This is OLD. This stands at appx 14 1/2 to 15 inches tall. Circumfrence at top widest area is 39 1/2 excluding handle that protrudes alittle further. Bottom circumference is 31 1/2. Tapers, more round bellied.. This has 1 wicker handle and 1 rope handle. Straw under wicker. Rope woven thru wicker and some sort of plastic gray wire also tied into rope. Glass bottle is light blue/green tone. There is a chunk broken off mouth and small chips. Also a very rare unusual decorative type band within the glass. Tattered and broken wicker throughout areas can be fragile. SEE all photos closely, zoom in, to see condition. Pictures can show better than I can describe. All original. Not perfect but the character cannot be replicated. Authentic true collectors piece.
