Description: These plates were once used for printing flyers, bulletins, papers, etc. This was salvaged from a church in the Chicago suburb of Norwood Park. Beautiful image of the old church, mounted on heavy, solid wood with handwritten description on tape attached to the side. It is 7.75" long; 4" wide and 1" tall. The copper plate is attached to the wood block with tiny finishing nails or brads. A lovely piece of history. You could choose to polish up the copper - I left it as I found it. Would be a great conversation piece in a vignette!
