Description: This is an antique Tobacco Cutter that would have sat on the countertop of an old store back in the day. Well over 100 years old. Solid cast iron and weighs 7.5 pounds. Measures 19" long and 5" wide. Deeply embossed THE CHAMPION KNIFE IMPROVED 3015 and ENTERPRISE M'F'G CO PHILADELPHIA U.S.A. Also has 1 INCH & 2 INCH measurements on the base for cutting plugs. The lever-operated mechanism works perfectly, bringing the blade down like a guillotine. It's been fully restored with all rust removed and refinished with gloss black enamel and clear-coat. Lettering was burnished before the clear. The Blade has pitting and some small chips in the edge but still cuts like crazy. Nice visual appeal and still usable. Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back.
