Description: This stunning Antique Empire / Old Paris Style Porcelain Vase is a rare find and will look great on display in your home and will be a great addition to any antique vase collection! There is what appears to be a "g&C" mark on the bottom, but I was not able to identify the manufacturer from this, or the manufacturing time frame. This vase measures about 11.7" high x 6.2" wide (handle to handle) x 3.8" long and is in very good to excellent condition (subject to opinion) considering its age. The vase features a beautiful pink rose flower basket design with other ornate details and a persons face on each vase handle. The vase has no obvious chips or scratches. The main designs are all in excellent condition. The gold trim paint on the base, between vase sections, and on the handle has worn slightly but is not obvious and does not take away from the appearance (my opinion). The hardware that holds the base and the top section is rusted and loose, but still in tact and does not appear to be in immediate danger of coming apart. The base and top portion will rotate but they are still held together. You should be able to replace the hardware if you want, but there should be no need to do so. The vase is generally clean, but may clean up further (especially inside). There is a mark on the bottom that is slightly worn that appears to be "g&C", but I can't say for sure. I was not able to figure out the manufacturer from this mark or determine when this may have been made. Best I can figure from family history, this most likely dates to the early 1900's and can't rule out the late 1800's. Please check the pictures closely to see the condition of the vase to make sure you agree with my condition assessment.
