Description: Antique Embossed Cast Iron Clamp Bracket. Steampunk? Re-Purpose? These came off of an Old water storage tank that had 1/2" round steel threaded rod bands holding all the staves together. Made by "Federal Pipe & Tank Co." of "Seattle, Wash. #F12S", whose name is cast into each one. Each has 2, 5/8" diameter holes in them where the 1/2" threaded rods went through. Dimensions: 6.5" long x 2.5" wide x 2.25" tall. could be used to repair a damaged existing tank, or as an lamp bracket, or mailbox bracket? or...?
