Description: FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE... Recent acquisition at the flea market in Paris....... Antique egg beater. Made of wood, metal and wire, it is marked on the turn gear, C B M, Brevete Le Roides Batteurs. It still runs smoothly. The wooden handle is painted with some visible wear as well as chippy edges. The metal components have some light surface rust I would attribute to age and disuse. The configuration of the wire beater component is intriguing in design, reminiscent of a tornado. I have inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size. MUCH OBLIGED
