Description: Beautifully refinished antique mahogany presentation box. The box measures 5 5/8" wide x 4 1/8" deep x 1 1/4" tall. Inside is 5 1/8" wide x 3 1/2" deep x 3/4" tall. The box is constructed of 1/4" thick mahogany and uses a mitered lap joint for strength. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. New dark blue velvet lines inside of box. Original hardware — clasp can be difficult at times. Excellent condition. All joints are solid. No cracks, scratches or splits in the wood. Felt pads protect bottom.
