Description: Listing is for an antique German porcelain bracket or corbel. It is decorated in the rococo style and depicts courting scene at the top with a cupid gazing upward with flowers in hand. 9” w x 6” d x 9.75” h It seems to have cut away from a wall where some of the wall remnants remain attached. There is a thin layer that is obscuring the back so no marks are visible. Additionally there is dried plaster on interior of the cavity and you can see the cut off nails that secured the bracket in place. It was originally installed with plaster, etc onto the wall. Some losses to the flower petals. Photos taken in order from all angles. Please review/expand to ascertain age, appearance, and condition. No marks are visible, after a lot of study I believe that it’s Carl Thieme. Offering as it is in current state with the debris on the back.
