Description: ANTIQUE DOXA 8 DAY OPEN FACE GOLIATH SWISS TRAVELLER POCKET WATCH CIR. 1910-1919 This 15 jewel watch may have been set into a leather or wooden case which would have served as a traveling time piece when working away from home or into the dash of a car. These oversized watches were not meant to be used as pocket watches as there is no protection for the large front crystal. Watch measures 2.75" diameter by 3.25" long Cosmetically it's in fine shape, no chips/cracks to crystal; expected age/use related wear to back of case. Low serial number; Crown winds, time sets but it's not running. I think one of the pieces has come loose as I can hear something when back is off and I shake it lightly.
