In my decades of dealing in antique frames, owning hundreds of them, I've never seen a decoration like this. Very unusual and extra attractive. Condition is good-plus. The frame is probably 140 or so years old, and thus has little dings and rubs all around the outer black ring, but nothing unexpected or objectionable. No glass but if that is desired it can be cut for you inexpensively at most hardware stores. Otherwise this frame is ready to hang. Please see the photos to judge condition for yourself.
