Description: Up for auction is a Rare, Signed- "Copelands China England" porcelain Oil Lamp; featuring a Cherub seated on a Rocaille form base supporting a Fluted Font. Base without shade measures 14" tall including the solid brass electrical adapter and stands 19" tall with Feather Shade. Has a base that measures 4 3/4" by 4 1/2". This came from England and has been professionally rewired with American 8 foot UL listed cord and molded plug with a Hi/Lo Rotary Line Cord switch in addition to the original push through that works. This is a rare find and could be converted back to oil use as the lamp was not drilled. Has a repair to the right foot and font as pointed out in pictures 8 and 9. Minor chips to ruffled trim on font, along with natural age related crazing and hairlines. Please review all pictures.
