TITLE, PUBLICATION, CONDITION:MY BOOKHOUSE SET of 6 volumesEdited by Olive Beaupre MillerPublished by THE BOOKHOUSE FOR CHILDRENThese are dated 1920 (Vol. 1-4) and 1922 (Vol. 5-6)Antique wonderfully illustrated books filled with children's classic literature including nursery rhymes, folk tales, Bible stories, poetry, biographies, some Shakespeare and more. They continued to be published from 1920 until the 1970s.The books span the ages of the nursery to middle school. They are prized by Home Schoolers for their content. All have considerable age and usage wear, both inside and on the covers. The covers, while slanted, are still attractive with gold gilt titles and designs along the spines and pasted illustrations on the front. Pages are filled will decorative accents and illustrations. There are some stains and tears indicating the journey these have taken before arriving in our donation box. While complete, there are some detached or missing pages which are noted by titles below.
