Description: This listing is for a rare antique Colgate & Co Perfumers 1870 -1890 Jockey Club Scent Fragrance Glass Bottles in Original Velvet Box Adorn with Gold Gilt Crest . This perfume by Colgate & Company for men was released in 1872. Bottles are empty. Each bottle is 3 1/8" tall and 2 3/4"x1 1/4" wide. Burgundy velvet box measures : 4" tall, 5 1/2" wide, 2 3/4" dip. There is a sticker on the bottom. Box shows apparent wear consistent with age. Bottles are in very good to excellent vintage condition. Both bottles are free of nicks or chips and dings around the neck, just there are a flakes on underside of stoppers. Please see pictures for more detailed information regarding the condition of these items. This is pretty enough to put on display. Colgate & Co. was located at 55 John Street New York.
