Description: Offering this antique German shoulder head doll with wonderful period clothing. Measuring about 12” long she has a firmly stuffed cloth folk art body with cloth arms and wonderful stitched hands no doubt made by a mother and daughter. The porcelain heads were bought and bodies were made and dressed with hand sewn clothing from available fabrics on hand. Her clothing appears to be period with a wool cape with a scalloped edging held on her with a beautiful monogram brooch. She wears a lovely lace trim blouse that ties in the back. Her skirt is a lovely deep blue with a fabric trim. Skirt appears to be small probably belong to another doll of hers and is pinned appropriately to her backside. Pantaloons, black, stocking socks, and leather brown booties complete her outfit ensemble. A wonderful antique doll to add to any collection. Please see pictures for details and measurements.
