Description: The Young Mother an Art Nouveau chromolithograph printed by the S.S. Porter company in Chicago Illinois copyright 1906 depicts a young mother holding her baby it is set in a period gilt frame there is some water damage on the matte near the edge of the glass the frame has some chips and scrapes and the kind of wear you get in 100 + years the frame is still solid the wear adds to its authenticity. There is a note written on the back of the print from the previous owner that reads. As near as I can remember Edith had this picture before we were married. The man's name and address are also written on the back. The address is a small house in east Nashville and I believe I found the man's obituary in 1974.
