Description: Antique Chinese Ming Dynasty Underglaze Porcelain Hong Wu Red Wine Ewer Pitcher A porcelain ewer of yuhuchun form with high strap handle and a long spout attached by a strut to the neck. Underglaze red with two different tree scenes on either side. Made in Jingdezhen province. Copper oxide pigment was used to create underglaze red designs. The ewer is domed with porcelain cover and a finial with loop to marry up to the ring on top of the handle. Measurements: 8" diameter x 13" height without lid, 15" with lid No chips or cracks. Great, antique condition.
