STUNNING and ELEGANT!We are offering a MASSIVE antique pair of Chinese porcelain floor vases converted to lamps, each measuring about 35.25 high altogether to the finial and 19high with just the vase, and 10 wide. Perfect in a Hollywood Regency / James Mont style/ MidCenturyhouse! Great for a "blue" bedroom, living room!The pair is decorated in striking detail with a hand painted blue glaze over most of the piece and white plum blossom branches stretching up toward the neck of the vase. Each vase is set onto a rosewood /walnut base that matches the top covering the opening, making for a cohesive design. The finials are blue and white porcelain as well, with figures painted on the sides. On the bottom of one of the wood bases, it is marked Made in Hong Kong. That tells us that the vases were made into lamps during the 1960-1970's,( although the porcelain is antique, 1800's)This pair is the perfect addition to any collection. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The lamps are in working order.
