Description: Antique Cast Iron Pot with Handle and Heat Ring. Diameter: 10"Height (not including handle): 4" The maker is not identified, but the number "3" is stamped into the bottom. This pot has been in my family for at least six generations. My late mother told me her great grandmother Addie Sloggy (from LaCrosse, Wisconsin) made homemade donuts in this pot, along with soups and stews, of course. I'm almost 60 now, so that leads me to deduce that the pot was cast in the late 19th century.
