Description: Bought from an estate auction in Monroe WI. From what I was told, the ladies' father and grandfather were pharmacists. The medical books were all dated in the late 1800s. I am assuming that this Mortar and Pestle are from around that time period. If anyone knows different information about this item, please feel free to share. I do strive to have an honest description of all items I sell. The mortar has a decent size chip missing from the rim, but it is structurally sound.
