Description: For sale is a neat relief carved cane / walking stick. It says Weirs NH 1902 WMCP. I'm not sure what WMCP was. There was big fair in Weirs Beach NH in 1902. Loads of camps and Civil War veterans would meet at Weirs. Teddy Roosevelt gave a big speech there in 1902. This cane might have been a souvenir of any of those. I found this cane in Portsmouth NH this past summer. 33 and 1/4 inches long. Condition:Nice condition. Some wear and scratches. Carvings are all original. Good patina. Good surface. Looks better than in my photos. Slight bend to the stick. Its not straight. No cracks. Some age drying splits but very stable. See photos to determine condition.
