The border on the side edge is magnificent. Its all hand blocked and there is a lovely Greek Key design up the edges. A rare treat. ! I also love the 18th century trim along the edge, a very nice addition to this panel! Very eye-catching!! There is a wonderful, tiny picotage pattern on the ground of this panel , its so wonderful! ~*~ This gorgeous textile would be lovely used as is as a large hanging, lovely backed for window treatments or ideal for many smaller projects such as light upholstery ( not suitable for projects which require a great deal of strength) , hangings, pillows, lampshades and many many other uses ~ ideal for any period interior ~ ~*~ ~*~ ( please see the matching small panel in my other textile listings) MEASUREMENTS : ~this lovely fabric panel measures 110 inches long on one side and 95 inches long on the other ~*~ 45 inches wide at the gathered top and the bottom measures 79 inches wide ~ CONDITION : This panel is in as found, not freshly laundered condition with storage dust . This panel is faded with time ~ There are some small holes, some light wear on the trimmed edge.
