Description: This is a very rare and unusual A&W Co. heavy brass Cuspidor. It is a five paw type footed flood stand. Has the date 1884 in heavy cast letters on the bottom. Underside of the lid is stamped A&W Co. and most unusual MK&TRY. For Missouri, Kansas, & Texas Railway. About 10 inches across the feet, top is 8 inches and it is 4 1/4 inches tall. Weighs over 8 pounds. Lid fits perfect and is easy to remove. I believe A&W Co. is Adams and Westlake Co. but have been unable to find any reference to them making this type of Spittoon? If anyone has any information on it, I would appreciate the information!
