Description: Up for bid is an original antique pre-owned Brass Hanging Bell Front Door or Servant Quarters. Found at a family estate sale. Family claims this bell has been handed down for many generations and believe it was part of a family home in the Victorian era. There are no markings or county of origin that I could find on the bell. It has a solid iron clapper that gives the bell a very loud sound or ring when used. It measures about 3” tall by 2 ¾” diameter at the base. A nice patina and some scattered rust on the body. Please see pictures for more condition details or e-mail with any questions.
